The 4th annual hot sauce festival kicked off Saturday afternoon at SpindleTap Brewery. Adventurous foodies challenged their taste buds to fiery concoctions from 65 hot sauce vendors.

The fest wasn’t just for those intrepid souls whose taste buds are without limits. Craft beer lovers took a refreshing break from the "venomous" hot sauce taste-testing with SpindleTap Brewery's signature blends. Highlights of the event included live music from country singer Jay Warren, a hot-pepper-eating contest and a spicy-pizza-of-death-eating contest.
