Pretty soon, lovers of Moe’s Original Bar B Que red sauce will be able to grab a bottle in stores, even if they don’t live in Alabama.
Last year, the Alabama-based barbeque chain started bottling and selling the sauces at select retail stores in the state, as well as online. Later this year, the bottles will hit shelves nationwide.
The 12-ounce bottles of sauce have a shelf life of 18 months, according to a press release.
If you’re from Alabama, odds are you know a thing or two about Moe’s Original Bar B Que. Moe’s started as a catering business run by the three Alabama natives. In 2002, Moe’s opened a BBQ concession trailer in Edwards, Colo. The trailer sold out of barbecue for 100 days straight. Four years later, the owners opened the first brick-and-mortar location of Moe’s in Orange Beach. Now, Moe’s now has more than 50 locations nationwide.
