Drunk driving, Hilliard Blvd.
On Nov. 7 officers responded to a report of the driver of a 2009 Nissan sitting through several cycles of the light at the Interstate 90 exit ramp. When officers arrived, the driver was found asleep at the wheel, despite loud music being played in the car. Officers had difficulty waking up the 33-year-old Rocky River woman. When she awoke, she was confused, had slurred speech, and other indicators of alcohol impairment. A series of field sobriety tests were administered and the driver was arrested for drunk driving.

On Nov. 7 a resident reported that her shed had been entered. Nothing was reported missing.
Disorderly conduct, Center Ridge Road
On Nov. 10 an assault was reported at a bar. A man told officers a woman attempted to knock the phone out of his hand as he was recording her belligerent behavior. He told officers she left the bar prior to their arrival. Officers found the 47-year-old Lakewood woman behind the building and noticed signs of alcohol impairment. She was unable to have a coherent conversation with officers about what happened or whom she came to the bar with. She was cited.
Theft, Detroit Road
On Nov. 12 a woman reported her credit card was stolen while she was shopping at Whole Foods. She said she used the card about about 3:30 p.m. at Whole Foods. She began receiving alerts that someone was later attempting to use the card at Wayfair and BJ Wholesale Club; both chargers were declined. Officers are investigating.
