Chick-fil-A To Start Selling Its Sauces In Stores - kjrh.com

Do you always beg for a few extra containers of Chick-fil-A sauce at the drive-thru pickup window or look around in hope of finding unopened packets of Polynesian sauce at the condiment counter?

If you happen to live in Florida — or are stopping through for a visit — you are in luck. Bottles of Chick-fil-A dipping sauces will soon be available throughout the state.

Beginning in April, shoppers at Publix, Target, Walmart and Winn-Dixie stores in The Sunshine State will be able to pick up 8- or 16-ounce bottles of Chick-fil-A Sauce and Polynesian Sauce. Those are apparently the restaurant chain’s two most popular sauce offerings, but fans of some of its other sauces aren’t being totally left out.

Chick-fil-A’s Barbeque, Honey Mustard and Garden Herb Ranch sauces will be available in 8-ounce bottles at all 220 restaurants across Florida. One bottle will be included with every catering order, and customers can purchase them separately, as well.

Unfortunately, although Sweet and Spicy Sriracha and Zesty Buffalo sauces will still be available in individual packets, they will not be bottled right now.

The 16-ounce bottled sauces will start at $3.49 each. According to the company, all proceeds from the retail sales of the sauces will be donated to Chick-fil-A’s Remarkable Futures Scholarship Initiative. This is the company’s team member scholarship program, which will award $17 million in education funding to 6,700 Chick-fil-A employees in 2020.

“Our team members are truly our ‘secret sauce’ to creating a positive experience in our restaurants,” Chick-fil-A Principal Program Lead Michael Patrick said in a statement. “Each time a customer purchases a Bottled Sauce at a participating retailer, the Chick-fil-A profits will support Team Members through our scholarship program.”

Chick-fil-A says it has provided nearly 60,000 scholarships, totaling more than $92 million, to employees since 1973.

If you are in Florida and craving your own bottle of sauce to take home, contact your local retailer to confirm participation. If you’re not down that way, all is not lost. If the pilot program is successful, Chick-fil-A could roll out bottled sauces nationwide later this year.

Which of the restaurant’s sauces would you most want to keep in your pantry?
