On the 50th Anniversary of Jimi Hendrix’s passing, Steve Miller has uncovered his rendition of “Peppa Sauce,” recorded live on the day of Hendrix’s passing (September 18th, 1970) in San Rafael, California at the now-defunct Pepperland.
In the recording Miller says, “We’d like to dedicate this next song to the memory of Jimi Hendrix” before spiraling into an epic seven-minute long jam of “Peppa Sauce” filled with Hendrix-inspired guitar licks.
