They're in your house.
They're in your car.
Some are scattered all over the place. Some are in your glove compartment. In your armrest. In your kitchen. In a kitchen drawer. In a plastic grocery bag. In the fridge. In a drawer in the fridge. In the butter compartment in the fridge.
You are hoarding sauce packets somewhere.
The question is why?
And how many?
And what kind?
My stash is filled with pretty much soy sauce, duck sauce, tiger (hot Asian) mustard, hot sauce, and grape jelly. I was astonished to see that there weren't many taco bell packets but I really don't eat there that often. No vast amounts of ketchup. There was regular mustard and only one McDonald's McNuggets dipping sauce. However, I had two stashes. One upstairs here in the studio and one downstairs in my office. Don't get me started on the one at home.
I even asked our receptionist if she had a collection.
Yup. And there's that Taco Bell sauce. We also both seem to be holding onto various packets of mayo and miracle whip. And that can't be good can it?
So, do we have a problem? Do you?
At least I'm not this bad.
That's right. Deflect and point out how someone else is worse than you instead of tackling your own problem.
Sidebar, how do people live in a house where the smoke detector keeps beeping and they don't notice and don't care?
Also, not this bad either.
You can tell the folks no when you get your food. You can get fewer packs. You can throw them out.
It's ok.
You're getting nervous thinking about getting rid of them aren't you?
Yup. We have a problem.
And it's nothing a drawer full of duck sauce won't fix.
