A Greater Manchester Police investigation into Invictus Gaming coach Ellis “GiG” Hindle’s alleged behavior towards an ex-girlfriend has concluded with no charges filed.

“The male arrested is no longer on police bail and has been released with no further action,” Greater Manchester Police said in a statement provided to SiegeGG. The decision was made “earlier this week”, and the crime report will be closed in the coming days, the GMP said on Wednesday, Sept. 15.

GiG denied the initial allegations, made on April 30 at the time, stating “I have proof none of this is true and will show my side in due course but for now I’m going to let the police do their job”.

The Invictus coach was arrested on suspicion of Assault on June 11, 2021, based on allegations made public on April 30, 2021, as reported by Dot Esports.

GiG released a tweet, stating that he was notified of the decision by the GMP on Saturday, Sept. 11. He did not immediately respond to a request for further comment from SiegeGG.
