Lea Michele hasn’t had a glee-filled year.
In early June, the 33-year-old Broadway and TV star came under fire for tweeting in support of George Floyd and the Black Lives Matter movement, leading her former “Glee” co-star Samantha Ware to tweet that Michele had made her life a “living hell.” Ware, 28, alleged Michele had committed “traumatic microaggressions” against her.
Ware’s accusations open the floodgates for other co-stars to come forward with their own tales of Michele’s alleged bad behavior. Fellow former “Glee” star Heather Morris described Michele as “unpleasant,” while her “Spring Awakening” co-star, Gerard Canonico, called her a “nightmare.”
Michele has since apologized for her past behavior, but it wasn’t enough to stop HelloFresh from cutting ties with her.
With everything that has been said about Michele, will it be possible for her to be redeemed by the public? Perhaps her pregnancy will help soften people’s opinions, but that remains to be seen.
