As it turns out, fan's theories about the reality star's ADHD were correct. Speaking with host Nick Viall on "The Viall Files," Shayne explained that his mental health, coupled with his "horrible anxious energy" led to his unusual behavior on the show. He further added that he had consumed copious amounts of caffeine — think up to 5 espresso shots a day — which didn't help his erratic movements.
As for his infamous altar scene, Shayne had an explanation for that too. "My wedding day where I looked like I was coked out of my mind, I didn't sleep for two days straight because I had no idea what she was going to say at the altar, no idea," the real estate broker said, per "The Viall Files." "My mom was in town, my whole family was in town. I was so embarrassed, my anxiety was going crazy."
