Dear Editor:
I continue to be horrified by the behavior of congressional Republicans. They continue to lay waste to any semblance of decorum and civility. The most recent abuse of the now confirmed Supreme Court Justice Jackson proves to me that they have lost all sense of both reason and simple manners. Outrageous behaviors of both Marjorie Taylor Greene and Madison Cawthorn notwithstanding, the willful decision of the vast majority of Republicans to kowtow to the Trump “lie of the century” staggers the rational mind.
Please ask yourself, are these really the people that you want leading you into the future? This supposed “freedom party” is solely about suppressing climate initiative, reproductive rights, gender identity and racial history. It is all about what you can’t do, can’t be, can’t know and can’t think. Yes, freedom indeed.
