AMSTERDAM - Walmart and Kroger will now be selling hot sauce from the Amsterdam-based company, Sticker Mule, on their websites.
The Mule Sauce, which its creators said has a "kick-ass" flavor profile balancing sweet with heat, will now be available to shoppers all around the globe through the international retailers' sites, the company said.
Mule Sauce is made with scotch bonnet, habanero and ghost peppers making it a 3 out of 5 on the heat intensity scale.
Spice-lovers can also buy the sauce on the company's website, Amazon or at several retail locations across the country. Sticker Mule will shift the sauce's manufacturing to the old Mohawk Dairy property on Forest Avenue. It will be made and bottled there alongside the company's combat sports training facility taking up half of the building.
